Our History

In October 1985, my parents, Nancy and Mario, purchased a small, 28-room hotel tucked away into the rolling hills of Hockley Valley. They shared a vision to create a beautiful full-service resort, that was at once elegant, charming and comfortable.

But it was more than just renovating the rooms and adding deluxe suites and a grand ballroom. It was more than designing a championship 18-hole golf course and building a contemporary conference centre. And it was more than expanding the ski facilities, enhancing the landscape and creating a luxurious 8000-square-foot spa.

It was all about the guest experience.

It was about their dedication to hospitality and passion for food. It was promising that everywhere you turn, you are greeted with exceptional service and treated to fresh and inspired cuisine.
