It’s fall! Beautiful backdrops, flickering firelight and deep, rich textured décor… Planning a fall wedding? Kendra Gatschuff, our Wedding and Social Sales Manager, gives us the lowdown on what’s hot for fall 2017. “It’s such a romantic time of year, with so many gorgeous décor elements to choose from,” she says, “Sophisticated, rustic, vintage, glam, eclectic – whatever your style, there’s something for everyone this season.” According to Kendra, here are the trends we’re seeing on the wedding scene this fall:
Metallics: While silver and gold will always be classic, the newest metallics are copper and rose gold. From invitations and place settings to centrepieces and cake, these updated metallic can add a little extra shine to your already beautiful décor.
Fruit: Fall fruit as table décor is a unique and beautiful way to mix earthy with sophisticated (think plums, figs, cranberries and pomegranates). This type of décor can save your budget, while adding a gorgeous fall element to your table. Keep it simple with a fancy fruit bowl as your centrepiece or add fruit to a stunning floral arrangement for a glam take on this theme.
Light Tones: Think white shouldn’t be used as fall décor? Think again! Combine white florals with metallics, or blush tones with garnets and eggplants, add a seasonal accent (see photo above) and you’ve got yourself a stunningly elegant seasonal table setting.
