Winter Fun and Sore Muscles

– If there’s no inflammation, heat is the key. A nice warm bath with Epsom salts or a hot water bottle will go a long way to relax your muscles and relieve tension.

– Have you tried essential oils? For muscle cramps, try lemongrass essential oil with peppermint and marjoram. For muscle spasms, try basil, marjoram and Roman chamomile. For muscle tension, try marjoram, peppermint, helichrysum, lavender or Roman chamomile. Simply add 1 or 2 drops of the oil to a carrier oil and apply directly to the affected area.
